E-paper displays or Digital Labels have many advantages over traditional display technologies, such as LCDs and LEDs.

E-paper displays are reflective displays and can be made with different types of technology, such as electrophoresis, electrization, and electrochromism. These types of displays reflect light instead of emitting it, which makes them very convenient to read even in direct sunlight.They are popular because of their low power consumption.

E-paper have a display technology that mimics the appearance of regular ink on paper with the advantage of being able to control the digital labels remotely and change prices and/or information remotely, they also have a so-called image memory, which means they do not need much energy to maintain the display; they need energy especially when there is a change in the display that takes a few seconds.
