Sanan Semiconductor has one of the few vertically integrated manufacturing service platforms for the whole SiC industry chain in China, which can provide full-flow manufacturing services for long crystal, substrate, epitaxial, chip, and packaging and testing, and realize all-around control of product iteration, quality, and delivery; and the scale of production capacity and technological level are competitive in the same industry in the world, which can strongly guarantee the supply to meet the market demand.

Sanan Semiconductor's second factory, developed as a joint venture with STMicroelectronics in Chongqing, China, represents a massive investment of approximately $3.2 billion. It is not only the cost that makes it remarkable, but also its production capacity: once fully operational, it will be able to produce approximately 480,000 8-inch SiC wafers per year. This will make it the first large-scale production line of its kind in China.
