DToF sensors (Direct Time-of-Flight) directly measure the travel time of a light pulse from emitter to object and back to the receiver. Using highly sensitive SPAD photodiodes and time-to-digital converters (TDCs), they provide fast, precise, and reliable distance measurements even under varying ambient light conditions. Ideal for robotics, automation, lighting, obstacle detection and smart devices.
