TO-3P Triac

Sanrex

Diode, Triac, TO-3P Triac

The Triac is an electronic component, of the semiconductor type, specifically designed to control alternating current loads. The typical application of the Triac is found in dimmers for domestic chandeliers, for speed regulation in household appliances and small electric motors. The current limitation is effected by modulating the conduction time of the component, sending the trigger signal with an adequate delay with respect to the beginning of each half-wave, variable from zero to the duration of the half-cycle.
